Our facilities were originally the site of Home Oil Company of Pomona, founded in 1922.
In 1970, John and Louise Strasser founded Orange Line Oil Company Inc., a wholesale distributor of lubrication products. John began his career in the oil business as a driver and salesman for Texaco. He left Texaco and began Orange Line from his garage.
Orange Line's current location in Pomona was acquired in 1974.
The company was sold in December, 2006 to a private equity company and today has grown to be one of the largest independent lubricants distributors in the West selling millions of gallons of bulk oil per year to car dealerships, quick lubes, and automotive shops from San Diego to Bakersfield,CA. Orange Line's two acre facility boasts a 21,000 square foot warehouse and 47 bulk oil storage tanks with a total capacity of more than 350,000 gallons.
